Job Description
Group is a group of vertically integrated companies specialising in solar photovoltaic energy and battery storage systems, with 17 years of experience in solar photovoltaic industry, that operates in all sections of the value chain of the renewable energy project. Our strategy is to develop, build and operate a balanced portfolio of large-scale solar projects to meet the growing demand for clean and sustainable energy, offering services and solutions to covers from the development, construction and O&M to the designing, tracker manufacture and storage.
As GRS, Gransolar Group has a worldwide footprint as EPC with over 111 successfully completed projects for a total capacity of more than 2,6 GW, furthermore a strong presence in Australia with in total 12 completed projects and 1,9 GW under construction, and in the O&M business line, more than 1,1 GW worldwide and with 500MW in Australia.

We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Technical Sales Representative for our Head Office to grow with our Commercial Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Sales Representative:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring clear communication, prompt response to inquiries, and timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular account reviews, proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of solutions.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the renewable energy ecosystem, focusing on the Australian market.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, understand market trends, and stay informed about competitors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets, expand customer base, and increase market share.
- Present offers, value propositions, and business proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our solar tracker and fixed tilt solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster long-term partnerships with clients, actively engaging in relationship-building activities.
- Conduct regular site visits, attend industry conferences, and participate in networking events to strengthen client relationships and gather market intelligence.
- Understand client goals and challenges, providing strategic advice, innovative solutions, and continuous support to meet their needs.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, address any concerns, and work closely with internal teams to ensure customer success and retention.
Sales Performance:
- Meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Continuously update and maintain accurate account records, sales pipeline, and customer information using CRM software.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar trackers and renewable energy.
- Travel up to 30 % when required. Monthly (1-2 day) travel to Sydney/Brisbane Corporate Office.
Experience required:
- Engineering graduates (Master in Renewables desirable), or previous experience of 1 or 2 years of Sales and technical knowledge within the photovoltaic industry.
- Competency in computer admin, email/calendar management, bid review/preparations.
- Account management and client support/communication.
- Proven experience in key account management and business development.
- Renewable energy sector or a related industry, (Preferred).
- Located in NSW or Victoria.
- Passionate about renewables.
- Highly organized, project driven, and timeline-oriented work.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
