Position Specific Description

In this role, you will be a serve as a key member of our leadership team supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for incurred spend and cash forecasts. Your role will support business process improvements and month-end project settlement activities.

 

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on capital projects and programs of varying size and complexity
  • Support project management efforts including coordination of supply chain, workflow monitoring, coordination and tracking of schedule data, hands on reporting, and detailed analysis of operational business drivers.
  • Develop and maintain project analytics and reporting tools including identifying key project risks.

 

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • SAP Financial experience
  • Advanced to Expert level proficiency with Excel and related financial reporting systems including BPC, PowerPlan, etc.
  • CPA
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher

Job Overview

This job supports one or more projects by providing comprehensive financial support and implementation of project management controls. Employees in this role administer budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, business process improvement and month end project settlement activities. Employees in this role oversee all project scheduling activities on an assigned construction projects, to ensure the contracts schedule requirements are met.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures accurate accounting treatment and capital postings for capital reporting, variance explanations, and progress reporting against budgets
  • Prepares, issues, and presents reports, corrective action plans and mitigation strategies based on critical path analysis
  • Reads and understands all major project contracts and ensures that all contract details are incorporated into the project forecast and cash flows
  • Prepares executive-level reports and ensures write-ups are accurate, complete, clear, and concise
  • Provides scheduling support for all projects in early stage development
  • Works collaboratively with resources to determine project priorities and work plans to meet corporate objectives
  • Determines necessary procedure and process requirements and coordinates development and implementation for scheduling group
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 4+ years

The base pay for this position is $85,600.00 to $128,400.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
