About the Department

**Corporate Services:** The Corporate Services Business Unit serves as the foundational infrastructure that enables the other three business units to drive Perfect Day's growth. These functions include Marketing, Communications, Finance, Legal, People & Culture, IT, Environmental Health Safety (EH&S), Facilities, Lab Services, Capital, and Strategic Projects.

Position Summary

**Senior Executive Assistant Manager Instrumentation** is responsible for managing utilities upstream and downstream equipment on a day-to-day basis in the laboratory.

What You Will Do

• Experience in operation maintenance related to automation instrumentation in fermentation, Pharma R&D manufacturing, and QC laboratory instruments
• Knowledge in maintenance troubleshooting of analog instruments
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation hardware and software and control systems including DCS PLC
• Preparing and maintaining calibration records, instrument history record, instrument list, calibration planner
• Prepare, maintain, and review specifications for engineering drawings and process equipment
• Prepare Equipment installation drawings and ensure installation guidelines are followed
• Prepare, maintain, and review SOPs
• Attending breakdowns, troubleshoot, and rectify basic issues in the shortest possible time
• Ensure that Operational problems are promptly brought to the attention of the Technical Supervisor
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance program
• At regular intervals, inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained
• Prepare and maintain reports
• Stay abreast of the technological advances in surveillance safety of equipment
• Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required

• **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering-related trades, along with certification in the related field
• **Experience:** 6-10 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance
• **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of respective utility equipment systems in Fermentation Pharma industry
• Experience in online sensor installation, qualification, and validation of different sensors (pH, DO, Temp, Flow, etc.)
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Troubleshooting of Hardware/Software issues, VFD programming, PLC hardware/software knowledge
• Should have process instrumentation knowledge and different types of Automation system communication protocols
• Conversant with Validation Documents, Preventive Maintenance Schedules, Check sheets, SOPs, Various Audit Procedures
• Knowledge of qualification program FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ
• Knowledge of metrological standards, Regulatory Guidelines, and Cleanroom requirements
• Standard instruments Calibration policies
• **Language Skills:** Fluent in English including reading, writing, listening, and speaking
• Active Listening, Speaking Impactfully, Proficient Writing, Attention to detail
