 Senior Design Engineer (all genders) / Engineer (all genders) Hardware Power Electronics Automotive   What you will move in this role:

* Technical Lead for research and development of innovative power electronics architectures and converter topologies

• Coordination management between the Hardware, Mechanical, Software, Validation and Manufacturing departments

• Simulate and calculate power electronic circuits using industry relevant tools

• Review the PCB layouts for the power electronics boards

• Presentation of the test and development results in the relevant committees

• Act as technical expertise for our juniors and the project team

  What skills and experience you should bring:

  • PhD or Master degree in power electronics, electrical, electronic engineering or similar field, with profound experience in power converter research and development

• Strong expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control and algorithm development preferably in onboard charger or similar applications

• Good theoretical understanding of basic power electronic converter principles, magnetic component designs and power semiconductor devices such as wide bandgap devices

• High level of self-reliance, a target-oriented work style as well as eager to learn new things and ready to think outside the box

• Ready for occasional business travels related to ongoing projects

• Fluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
