Job Description

We are a sustainable infrastructure company with a majority of our business in renewable energy assets. We complement our portfolio of renewable assets with storage, efficient natural gas and transmission infrastructure assets, as enablers of the transition towards a clean energy mix. We are also present in water infrastructure assets, a sector at the core of sustainable development.

Our purpose is to support the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while creating long-term value for our investors and the rest of our stakeholders.

We currently own or have an interest in a portfolio of diversified assets in terms of business sector and geographic footprint. Our portfolio consists of 40 assets with 2,048 MW of aggregate renewable energy installed generation capacity (of which approximately 72% is solar), 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power generation capacity, 55MWt of district heating capacity, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines and 17.5 M ft3 per day of water desalination.

We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions. More specifically, in the Kingdom of Spain we have eight solar energy facilities located throughout the country.

We are currently seeking for a Purchasing Intern to work with and strengthen our Purchasing team based in Seville’s office.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the implementation of the Purchasing procedures.
  • Participating in the activities organized by the purchasing team.
  • How to be in contact with suppliers and internal customer
  • Searching and approval of potential suppliers
  • Requesting offers, making comparisons, and be involved in negotiation process.
  • Analyzing contracts
  • Creating Purchases Order in the ERP system

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent English level (C1 is a must).

Personal Skills

  • Problem-solving oriented and strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactiveness, self-efficiency, organizational skills, team working, discrete and ethical, initiative and easiness to learn.

Technical Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel and PowerPoint is a must).
  • Desirable knowledge in SAP ERP
