Project Manager Grazing Livestock Systems

**Position Location:** Remote

ESMC seeks an experienced Project Manager Grazing Livestock Systems to join our dynamic team. The role will be instrumental in leading grazing livestock projects with project partners, supporting ESMRC's grazing lands technical working group with members, and continuing to develop and refine ESMC's livestock systems programming and projects. The position will implement and lead livestock system innovation work with partners and collaborators, support ongoing and future pilot projects, and help refine livestock programming to achieve market readiness for future market program projects. The role will work collaboratively as part of the larger ESMC/ESMRC team and with ESMC/ESMRC members and stakeholders, and will serve to help accomplish ESMC's broader mission and vision.

**Required Skills/Experience:**

  • Undergraduate degrees in agronomy, soil science, environmental science, or area relevant to agricultural sector operations, ecosystem services, and natural resources management
  • Strong agricultural experience related to on-farm supply chain, land use change, carbon greenhouse gas emissions, and mitigation options for livestock systems
  • 3-5 years of work experience in grazing lands, livestock systems, and/or project development and management in the agricultural sector
  • Demonstrated high productivity, efficiency, and self-starter skills and attitude
  • Prior experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial organization or role
  • Demonstrated excellent written and communication skills

Protocols and Standards Manager

**Position Location:** Remote

ESMC seeks an experienced Protocols and Standards Manager to lead protocol maintenance and refinement, and conformance with relevant standards and guidance, as well as ensure ESMC project and program conformance with protocols.

**Required Skills/Experience:**

  • Graduate degrees in Ecosystem Management and Administration or Ecosystem Science and Sustainability or equivalent
  • 3 years of working in food supply chains, agricultural auditing, quality management systems, standards producer technical assistance provision, regenerative agriculture, grant writing, management administration, and oversight of staff/remote contractors
  • Demonstrated familiarity and experience with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria
  • Demonstrated high productivity, efficiency, prior start-up experience, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrated excellent written and communication skills
