MBA Internship Business Operations and Strategy

About the Role

The MBA Intern will support our operations team by working directly with the Head of Operations on key strategic projects. This internship is an opportunity to learn hands-on how to build a startup and will have a meaningful impact on establishing key strategy and process. The goal of the internship is to assess and create critical business tools and processes that will enable CREW to grow. This position will take place over the summer (May to end of August) but timing is flexible. We are looking for an entrepreneurial operator who is willing to roll up their sleeves and jump into all aspects of our climate tech startup. Location is flexible but preference may be given to candidates who are able to locate on the East Coast.

Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Refine company goals and establish a goal tracking system
  • Establish measurable KPIs for goals
  • Refine CRM and reporting system including potentially assessing new tools for our CRM functionality
  • Work with CEO and Head of Operations to identify required investor reporting and build reporting system and process
  • Evaluate tools and improve processes for the product team such as experiment results tracker to support the technology roadmap
  • Evaluate new workflow and project management tools such as notion salesforce, etc. for CREW's next phase of growth

**Additional Projects:** Additional projects may be scoped and identified during the course of the internship.

Requirements

**Required Qualifications:**

  • 1st Year MBA Candidate or comparable graduate degree
  • Experience with go-to-market functions
  • Experience with administering systems and business operations or data management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be part of a high-performing team
  • Ideal candidate has a startup mindset where adaptability, creativity, agility, and execution are key
  • Strong desire to fight climate change

**Bonus Qualifications:**

  • Experience working in a startup
  • Experience with businesses that have a hardware, chemical, or infrastructure component including experience with permitting

Compensation

The compensation for this position will range between $26-36 per hour and will depend on many factors including experience, education, and expertise. Pay range may change and be modified in the future.
