Our global Finance Unit within the Packaging Materials Division carries out accounting tasks and provides financial services in multiple areas. We value accuracy, collaboration, and innovation in the world of finance.

We are now looking for Junior Financial Controller to join our team in the Packaging Materials in Ostrava.

In this role you will:

• Carry out particular accounting tasks, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records for various non-mill and mill entities/service providing organizations/divisional functions depending on the assigned scope
• Work across multiple areas of accounting including the controlling and reconciliation of accounts and records, ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards (IFRS, local GAAP)
• Sales reporting according to local rules – statistics, Intrastat
• Prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report P&L and balance sheet transactions with respect to correctness and completeness
• Assisting with the budgeting process and forecasts
• Liaising financial issues with internal stakeholders
• Participation in developing of sound financial and controlling processes together with other teams within the Packaging Material Financial Services to enable the timely and informative reporting of financial data

Qualification and skill we expect from you:

• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in finance area (controlling, accounting, financial audit)
• University degree in Economics or similar field or High school diploma and relevant work experience
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to interpret financial data and attention to details to ensure accuracy in reporting
• English, B1 level or higher
