IT Manager/System Administrator

Last Energy seeks a highly motivated IT Manager/System Administrator to join our IT department. As an IT Manager/System Administrator at Last Energy, you will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and ensuring that all systems, applications, and networks are running smoothly.
​This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and works collaboratively with internal employees and external partners. ### Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the IT systems
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot any IT-related issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the IT systems meet the business requirements
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on how they can be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure that they are tested regularly
• Ensure that all IT-related documentation is up-to-date and accurate
• Manage IT budgets and ensure that costs are kept within budget
• Perform system administration duties, including installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, databases, and other IT systems
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data
• Perform regular backups and ensure that they are tested and validated
• Install and maintain software applications and updates
• Manage user accounts and permissions for IT systems
• Ensure that all systems are properly licensed and comply with software vendor policies
• Other IT-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT
• Excellent technical knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Experience in project management and managing budgets
