What we are looking for:

The Global Logistics Manager will direct, implement, and manage a Global Logistics Strategy including inbound, outbound and reverse Logistics. This position will also manage Trade Compliance and all global warehouse operations.

What you will do:

  • Accountable for developing and implementing an overall global logistics strategy which is aligned with company growth plans and optimizes service and cost while meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for orchestrating all activities related to ensuring the consistent flow of goods and information from suppliers to end customers. This includes optimizing service and cost through transportation management from origin to the distribution center, accurate and timely customs clearance, third-party distribution operations, outbound logistics, export procedures, and returns processing.
  • Manage and coordinate international logistics activities, leveraging expertise in navigating cross-border regulations, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and fostering successful partnerships with global stakeholders
  • Collaborate with key internal functions such as Customer Success, Supply Chain, and Finance to provide excellence in supply chain visibility, responsiveness, cost effectiveness and on-time-in-full delivery to customers.
  • Responsible for leading Logistics transformation and continuous improvement projects which may include set-up of 3PL distribution centers, warehouse transitions and inventory moves, set-up and transition of 3PL returns and service centers, new systems implementations or enhancements, process and policy changes, developing new tools and techniques.
  • Negotiate all contracts with external logistics providers including the establishment of standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
  • Accountable for leading the customs and compliance activities.
  • Responsible for continuously assessing and anticipating internal and external risks such as capacity shortages, regulatory changes, and infrastructure, port, or carrier issues. Proactively develop plans to mitigate risk and ensure continuity of service.
  • Utilize NetSuite to manage and track financial transactions, streamline order processing, monitor inventory levels, generate insightful reports, and support other operational tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of business processes.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of global logistics experience successfully managing end-to-end supply chain solutions including distribution/warehousing, inbound and outbound logistics, customs compliance and tariffs, carrier and provider contract negotiation, and reverse logistics.
  • Proven experience in managing logistics operations within an international or global business environment,
  • Experience with selecting, implementing, and managing third-party logistics providers for warehousing and distribution, origin management, customs brokerage, and reverse logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Thorough knowledge of IT & ERP systems and superior computer skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar, demonstrating proficiency in navigating its functionalities, managing workflows, and leveraging its reporting capabilities to streamline business processes and drive efficiency.
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail are essential.
