About The Opportunity

The Jacobs Cities & Places team creates thriving places across different scales, from regions to cities, neighborhoods to individual buildings, all through an integrated design approach. We have a tremendous opportunity to build upon our strengths and develop an interdisciplinary planning, design, and delivery practice that is uniquely Jacobs. Our business unit brings together engineers, architects, surveyors, urban designers, project managers, and transport planners to provide collaborative and coordinated value design solutions for our clients nationally and internationally. The Jacobs Future Mobility Team is working at the cutting edge of vehicle technology and supporting clients around the globe to plan, create, and operate transport networks of the future. We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Decarbonisation Technology Manager to help shape, deliver, and grow our portfolio of zero-emission fleet and vehicle transition work across multiple markets. You will primarily work across our UK portfolio of clients and contracts while supporting other global projects. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to shape solutions for transitioning to cleaner and smarter mobility through technology adoption.

Some Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationships and partnerships in fleet electrification and future mobility space to deliver whole lifecycle solutions to clients
• Client-facing role focusing on business development, forming positive relationships to understand client challenges and design innovative solutions
• Develop and support thought leadership pieces to introduce new concepts and research to the market
• Provide robust advice to clients on deploying innovative technologies in line with wider objectives

Here’s what you’ll need

• Background in Fleet Transition and Technology
• Strong experience in EV charging solutions and infrastructure planning in the UK and Europe
• Experience in electromobility solutions and business model innovation with fleet transition plans
• Network in the transportation industry and understanding of future technologies
