Canadian Solar is seeking an **Environment Health Safety Specialist** to join the team.

Job Summary:
This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for protecting the environment and ensuring the health and safety of team members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for reporting to onsite management teams and corporate reporting systems.
- Support management efforts to ensure compliance with corporate program expectations and applicable laws.
- Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analysis, and assess new equipment introductions.
- Recommend risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and/or weekends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel professionally.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety management system practices, developing ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management.
- Strong sense of responsibility, motivation, forward-thinking, and proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree or higher, preferably in a safety-related field.
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
- Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns.
- Experience in emergency response and holding First Aid and CPR certificates.
