Position: DevOps Lead

• **Job Type:** Full Time, 40 Hours/Week

• **Location:** 90% Remote, 10% Travel

Job Description

This role will be focused on developing, evolving, and supporting the cloud infrastructure and security needs of our organization. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated strong skills and experience in managing cloud infrastructure as well as the ability to be a trusted partner to technical and non-technical audiences both inside the organization and with our external partners. In this role, you will be responsible for being the technical lead for our cloud infrastructure team as well as building and maintaining new patterns as our infrastructure needs evolve. The ideal candidate must have experience in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems as well as experience leading DevOps engineers. This person will report to the VP of Engineering and will not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure operations
• Lead a small team of DevOps Engineers
• Be the technical lead for new infrastructure patterns and modifications
• Maintain and ensure adaptation of InfoSec policies within our cloud-hosted environments
• Drive increased observability dashboarding and supporting metrics
• Expand and standardize CI/CD patterns
• Maintain access controls to cloud-hosted environments and tools
• Help manage overall infrastructure spend
• Manage team coverage for on-call and emergency infrastructure needs

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in AWS Infrastructure products
• Strong networking and cloud security understanding
• Team or Project Lead experience in DevOps
• AWS and Cloud Infrastructure certifications are a plus
• Travel: 90% Remote, 10% Travel to Minneapolis, MN, or Washington, DC
