Commissioning Engineer

We areseeking a Commissioning Engineer for commissioning the photovoltaic projects and supervising the assembly quality on the sites.

PVHardware (PVH) is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry!

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in Electronic, Electrical, Industrial, (Mechanical, or Civil are preferred).
• Ability to travel about 80% of the time.
• Passport: This role requires international travel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Driver license.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working on site of a renewable energy project would be asset (Nice to have).
• Bilingual: Spanish (Nice to have).

Responsibilities:

• Contact continuously with clients to coordinate the supervision assembly and commissioning works.
• Reporting to the client about the commissioning progress and incidents that affects the correct operation of the tracker.
• Carrying out the commissioning of the trackers controllers.
• Identify and resolve technical problems that arise in the system during the work.
• Providing training of the system controllers to the O&M staff.
