Job Description

**Core Responsibilities:**

• Outreach and marketing manager responsible for engaging key stakeholders, including customers, and reaching customer enrollment goals
• Cultivate on-site presence and build relationships with local stakeholders and prospective pilot participants
• Communicate scope and objectives of pilot projects to internal and external stakeholders
• Finalize and execute customer journey mapping, including customer touchpoints and surveys
• Provide customer service support, develop FAQs, scripts, and resolve inquiries and issues
• Represent Con Edison at regulatory bodies, industry conferences, and external stakeholders
• Develop pilot messaging to communicate various aspects to audiences
• Ensure safe work practices are followed and the environment is protected

**Required Education & Experience:**

• High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of work experience OR Associate's Degree and 7 years of work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of work experience OR Master's Degree and 2 years of work experience

**Preferred Education & Experience:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, environmental science, or relevant major and 5-7 years of experience
• Master’s Degree in marketing, policy, public affairs, or relevant discipline and 2 years of work experience in utility, clean energy, or sustainability

**Relevant Work Experience:**

• Demonstrated project management and contract management experience
• Marketing and outreach experience to customers
• Access to a vehicle for community outreach events and customer visits
• Leadership, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to collaborate and work through ambiguity
• Experience with new technologies, utility business models, and rate design
• Experience with thermal energy networks, waste heat recovery, decarbonization, building electrification, or renewable energy
• Working with and presenting to DPS staff and executive stakeholders
• Driver’s License
• Physical demands: Must be able to respond to Company emergencies and restore service to customers
