Job Description

We are looking for creative explorers, reliable doers, customer-oriented individuals, team players, and those who are eager to join us on the path to the future of energy supply. For our Portfolio Control department in Salzgitter, we are seeking a Head of Portfolio Control.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and advance the Portfolio Control department at Avacon Network GmbH
• Plan the entire range of measures for regulated and deregulated network business
• Manage the implementation of measures, monitor budget, quantity, and quality, and allocate resources
• Oversee a technical order volume of approximately 2 billion for a rolling three-year period
• Create transparency on resource needs and availabilities, derive procurement strategies
• Ensure alignment of technical order volume with internal and external resources
• Collaborate with partner firms to secure effective cooperation and capacity in the market
• Monitor actual organizational utilization, identify opportunities and risks
• Provide comprehensive and anticipatory reporting on the overall business

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in asset management, special networks, portfolio management
• Analytical, structured, with a sound awareness of risk
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP applications
• Ability to work independently and in a team, open to diverse and varied tasks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluent in English
