Application Engineer

**Your Role:** As an Application Engineer at SMA Solar Technology AG in Kassel, Germany, you will support sales units in marketing our products and systems in the areas of photovoltaics, energy storage systems, e-mobility applications, and energy management systems. You will collaborate closely with account teams and be responsible for technical pre-sales activities.

**Your Contribution:**

• Assist customers with technical inquiries regarding photovoltaics, energy storage systems, e-mobility applications, and energy management systems in Central Europe, focusing on commercial applications.
• Coordinate and manage customer requests in collaboration with sales, product management, development, and other departments.
• Conduct training sessions for sales and application engineers.
• Support the team in maintaining and expanding customer relationships, including acquiring new customers through technical consultations.
• Present products and services at trade shows and roadshows.

**Skills Required:**

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in installing electrical systems, sales support, or field service.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ideally with Salesforce knowledge.
• Excellent English skills and willingness to travel.
