Your Mission:

EDRI is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to advise colleagues on all legal matters from A to Z. Successful candidates will have one to several years of experience in an innovative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in an international setting, can work as part of a team, and thrives in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Legal Compliance and be part of the wider CFO team. The position offers a mix of home office (up to 4 days per week) and on-site presence (minimum 1 day per week) at our headquarters in Essen, Germany.

Some examples of your daily tasks:

• Act as the direct point of contact for the international E.ON Drive Infrastructure team and management on all legal matters.
• Assist in ensuring streamlined governance, effective compliance, and up-to-date data protection for the EDRI group internationally.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, claims, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal support for the establishment of strategic partnerships and drafting bespoke partnership agreements.
• Assist in the selection and management of external law firms to provide local legal support.
• Manage key stakeholders using data analytics and strong communication skills.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in our Headquarters and the local teams.

Your Profile:

• Completed second state law exam.
• One to five years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, ideally in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Fluent in German and English.
