Varna Sri Raman brings two decades of work on livelihoods, public health, education, gender, food systems, and climate resilience to two current roles. As India Programmes Lead at Fish Welfare Initiative, she is advancing sustainable and ethical aquaculture. As a Dr. Manmohan Singh Fellow with the All India Professionals' Congress, she is helping shape green policy and strengthen climate resilience in national politics. She also co-leads Pinpoint Ventures, a purpose-driven studio supporting organizations across the equity-resilience spectrum.

Her approach combines rigorous methods with deep attention to lived experience: publications on gender and nutrition, partnerships with funders and multilaterals, and direct work with community networks.

Terra.do's LFA Fellowship gave Varna a systems-level view of climate solutions that connected her development economics background to the climate sector.

Varna is working at the junction of justice and climate policy: the space where structural equity and climate resilience have to be designed together, not traded off against each other.
