He came to this role after serving as COO of The Sustainability Mafia (SusMafia), one of India's most active founder communities across energy, mobility, water, circularity, and urban sustainability. In 2025, he was selected as a Swedish Institute Impact Pioneer.
Reflecting on his LFA experience, Rajat says: "It really helped me connect my own background to how I could contribute meaningfully. And the community aspect was huge for me — being part of a network of passionate professionals and having access to mentors and collaborators really made a difference. Plus, having that LFA tag definitely adds a layer of credibility and trust within the network. Overall, I'm really glad I took the leap and decided to enroll."
Rajat is doing ecosystem work: creating the conditions for other people's breakthroughs rather than chasing his own. That's a particular kind of climate contribution, and an underappreciated one.
