Job Description

Our Opportunity:

Our organization is seeking a Logistics Manager to coordinate, plan, and monitor all aspects of mission critical direct material deliveries and inventory. In this role, you will focus on executing best in class warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes to support our business needs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage inventory across multiple warehouses and project sites

· Work with both internal and external partners to coordinate material deliveries based on project schedules and contract milestones

· Maintain and enforce proper documentation to support compliance and billing efforts of all direct materials, including but not limited to bills of lading, packing slips, and certificates of origin

· Ensure quality, quantity, and financial commitments are met per terms and conditions

· Negotiate and establish agreements with carriers, brokers, warehouses, and mobile storage providers

· Meet regularly with procurement and project management teams to provide status updates and solutions to scheduling challenges

· Develop a standard site logistics plan which will account for all phases of construction and incorporate any local restrictions

· Support benchmarking efforts to develop the most efficient and cost-effective logistics process possible by leveraging industry standard KPIs

· Collaborate with O&M team to optimize warehouse space, inventory technology, and support buy vs lease analysis as needed

· Oversee major material deliveries onsite as needed

· Own all master data and inventory related ERP reporting

Technical Skills & Expertise:

· 3+ years track record of experience in logistics or warehouse management

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related field or equivalent job experience

· Proficiency in ERP warehousing and material management software, Oracle or SAP experience a plus

· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and inventory best practices, standards, and available technology

· Understanding of federal initiatives and their requirements such as the Inflation Reduction Act or Buy America Act a plus

· Team player with strong initiative and solutions-oriented mindset

· Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

· Independent thinker able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

· Proven ability to produce error-free work with high compliance requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Exceptional negotiating skills

· Advanced analytical skills
