Sr. Lead Demand Planner

Sr Lead Demand Planner in Multiple Locations - Rivian

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop inventory strategies
• Utilize forecasting tools and models to predict demand patterns
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
• Communicate with internal teams to align on demand forecasts and inventory targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on demand insights
• Develop strategies to address supply chain constraints and ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and software
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of automotive industry trends and market dynamics
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
• Familiarity with inventory management principles and best practices
