If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safety Analysis Engineer - Physics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering. This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days a week on site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. **Your Day to Day** As a Safety Analysis Engineer, your main responsibility will be to carry out calculations and conduct security analyses of our BWR reactors. You will perform calculations and analyze the response in a nuclear reactor based on different cases and scenarios. Conduct safety analysis based on recurring scenarios as well as new legal requirements or incident reports. Write and review reports based on your findings. You will work in project-based teams in close collaboration with project managers and other Safety Analysis Engineers. The work is mainly carried out on our internally developed programs BISON and POLCAT.

**Who You Are** As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Physics, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred) that provides a strong technical and theoretical foundation.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a recent graduate with a postgraduate degree (minimum 3.0 GPA) and strong interest to develop.
• Have programming skills preferably in Python and/or MATLAB.
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Thorough and structured approach to tasks and enjoy solving theoretical problems.
• High level of integrity and ability to follow instructions with accuracy.
• Communicative and enjoy collaborating with other people.

**Nice to Have but Not Required**

• A Masters of Science in Engineering is preferred.
