Engineering and Software Development Microgrid Controls Engineer

Open Access Technology International Inc

OATI, an innovative Minnesota based technology company, is seeking a Microgrid Controls Engineer to work in the design, programming, deployment, and testing of microgrid systems. The Microgrid group at OATI is expanding and looking for qualified staff to join the team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop, deploy, and test microgrid control platforms.
  • Program Real-Time Automation Controllers.
  • Support customers in troubleshooting.
  • Design control networks and infrastructure.
  • Field implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of microgrid sites.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Science.
  • Experience with AC power, automation technology, and computer coding.
  • Valid US driver's license, U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, local to MN.
  • Prior experience with automation protocols, networking design, programming automation controllers is a plus.
