Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead a technology study focused on optimizing the design of our battery packs. The primary objective is to enhance product design for improved automation, streamlined manufacturing processes, and increased efficiency and quality. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that will shape the future of PT battery production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive technology study to identify opportunities for optimizing battery pack design for enhanced automation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product developers, manufacturing, and automation engineers, to gather insights and requirements for design optimization
  • Develop innovative design solutions that address the challenges of automation while upholding product integrity and performance
  • Create detailed design proposals, including sketches, 3D models, and simulations to demonstrate design improvements
  • Evaluate the feasibility, cost implications, and potential impact of proposed design changes on manufacturing efficiency and product quality
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in battery tech, automation, and mechanical design to ensure top-notch designs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the power tool battery industry or related sectors
  • Strong proficiency in CAD (CREO) software and design simulation tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong foundation in engineering principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for technology and design optimization
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
