**The Role:** Watershed is on a mission to help financial institutions build best-in-class sustainability programs. We work with some of the world's largest banks and asset managers to track their financed emissions, identify decarbonization opportunities, and use sustainability data to inform real business decisions. Watershed is hiring an experienced manager for Customer Success that can bring a Finance industry perspective to this team and to Watershed more broadly. We help some of the largest financial institutions globally to measure, report, and act with our sustainability platform at the core.

We're looking for a leader who cares deeply about developing, coaching, and supporting an experienced team of CSMs. You and your team will help refine and scale the customer success function as we gear up for this next year of growth with a particular focus on how we support the financial sector. You'll be the voice for your team and for customers within the organization. You'll work closely with product, sales, and climate advisory teams in a new and evolving space to drive real impact towards customer's sustainability goals. As one of the early managers in a fast-growing company, you'll set culture for both your team and Watershed as a whole. You, along with the rest of Watershed's leadership and people teams, are responsible for building a diverse, inclusive, and hard-working organization.

Our NAMER CSMs are located primarily in San Francisco and New York, and we're looking for a manager based in New York.

**You Will:**

  • Hire, develop, and coach a team of customer success managers.
  • Collaborate with our product teams and be the voice of the customer, providing regular and actionable customer feedback with a particular focus on our finance customer needs.
  • Develop and help drive the team to achieve key metrics including customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Guide and support your team in managing their customers throughout their lifecycle, taking an active role in helping them drive engagement with Watershed's products and services.
  • Develop and implement processes and tools that help the CS function scale and effectively support customers.
  • Be a representative of the CS function and of the broader Watershed leadership team within the office.

**You Have:**

  • A background leading customer success teams in an Enterprise SaaS space.
  • Experience working with large financial institutions.
  • A passion for people development and coaching.
  • Great examples of working cross-functionally to build products for customers.
  • Experience developing metrics and processes in early-stage high-growth companies that drive towards operational excellence.

This role may include up to 25% travel.

**Compensation:** At Watershed, we strive to design consistent, fair, and competitive compensation programs. The anticipated on-target earnings range is inclusive of base salary, variable commission, and other benefits. Commission at Watershed is uncapped and includes tiers of acceleration with no deceleration in the plans. We offer a non-recoverable draw and ramp quota schedule during a new hire's onboarding period.

OTE Range: $190,700 - $240,800 USD
