At The Ocean Cleanup, we rely on supporters from around the world to help rid the oceans of plastic. As an intern in Digital Marketing Communications, you will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining these supporters through various digital touchpoints. Working in our Communications team offers plenty of meaningful projects and challenges to make a measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Support various digital projects including donor management, website experience, Google ads, data analysis, and newsletter strategy.
• Assist the Sr Digital Marketing and eCommerce Manager in executing projects.
• Take a data-driven approach to assess the impact of different efforts on supporter numbers, conversion rates, churn rates, and satisfaction scores.

Professional Qualifications

• Ongoing Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing or communications.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous experience in digital communication and/or marketing is a plus.
• Experience with CRM, CMS systems, Photoshop, InDesign, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, surveys, and/or social media advertising is advantageous.
