Intern - Test Engineering

• Design component (PCBAs, junction boxes, sensors) test fixtures for mechanical validation programs including structural durability, environmental testing, and vibration durability
• Develop vibration, environmental test plans to validate that components meet overall Lightship product target
• Execute various component and sub-system level test plans with external test houses and internally
• Troubleshoot system/component failures and aid in failure root cause analysis

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Rising Senior or greater, graduating pending 2025
• Hands-on prototyping experience
• Strong engineering fundamentals in statics, mechanics, prototype manufacturing and data acquisition
• Proficient in a CAD program, CATIA preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems is a plus Internship dates: Summer 2024
