**Description**

As the Executive Director of Engineering Construction Planning, you will lead key projects that enhance our multi-modal transit services. You will be responsible for driving innovative solutions from launching new expansion efforts to improving existing infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in managing project execution and assessing their impact, ensuring alignment with environmental standards, property concerns, timeframes, and budgetary limits.   • Serve as a good steward of TriMet by utilizing our transit system regularly
  • This position requires 5 days a week onsite

**Essential Functions**

  1. Provide strategic and engineering oversight for planning, designing, and constructing large and small capital projects
  2. Develop plans, budgets, and schedules in various functional areas
  3. Monitor and approve budgets and operational forecasts
  4. Define project controls objectives and maintain project schedules
  5. Direct the activities of the Capital Grant Compliance Control
  6. Implement safety and security policies and programs
  7. Interact with government agencies, public officials, and community members
  8. Build networks and relationships within various organizations and agencies

**Position Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Design, or related field
  • 12 years of senior management experience with project management emphasis required
  • 5 years of supervisor management experience required
  • Professional Engineering license desirable but not required

*Or any equivalent combination of training or experience.*

**Type of Position**

  • Grade FLSA Grade 26
  • Exempt Non Union Full Time
  • Salary Range Minimum: $216,690.00 Maximum: $325,036.00

*Salary offers will be determined based on education, training, and relevant experience.*
