AI Internship and Full Time

**Responsibilities:**

• Conduct research on specific AI problems critical to power system operations leveraging OATI's vast datasets
• Develop and implement machine learning models using popular frameworks
• Participate in the full research cycle from literature review to presentation of findings
• Collaborate effectively with other researchers and engineers
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in AI and power systems research
• Contribute to the development and documentation of technical code

**Qualifications:**

• **Education:** Currently enrolled in a Master's program in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• **Technical Skills:** Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, proficiency in Python, C, and R, experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• **Research and Project Experience:** Independent research or AI-related project experience
• **Other Skills:** Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, passion for research and development in the field of AI

Microgrid Controls Engineer

**Open Access Technology International Inc**

**Responsibilities:**

• Work with OATI software teams to develop, deploy, and test microgrid control platforms
• Configure and test OATI's software-based microgrid control platform
• Program Real-Time Automation Controllers (RTACs) to perform functions alongside the control platform
• Support customers in troubleshooting equipment
• Design control networks and infrastructure for communications at microgrid sites
• Field implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new microgrid sites

**Qualifications:**

• **Education:** Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• **Experience:** Knowledge of AC power, automation technology, and computer coding
• **Requirements:** Valid US driver’s license, US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, Local to MN
• **Preferred Experience:** Automation protocols, networking fundamentals, programming automation controllers, cogeneration, microgrids, renewable energy, and Linux
