QCELLS Enable is the EPC branch of Qcells for the Commercial, Industrial, Distributed Generation, and Small Utility Scale solar markets. Our mission is to provide world class design and installation of large-scale PV and ESS systems throughout the US. Our position as a leading module manufacturer means we can offer end-to-end solutions for project developers and asset managers. We are expanding our offerings and have several open positions currently in our Teaneck, New Jersey headquarters. SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Director of Procurement who will oversee the ongoing procurement for all stages, from pre-construction to operations. As an essential operations team member you will support projects and assets at all stages of development, planning, installation, ongoing operations, and maintenance efforts. In addition to comprehensive solar engineering knowledge, the work will require effective written communication and computing skills and the ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical audiences. A strong background in AC, DC, DAS equipment's also preferred to lead our solar installation projects for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of solar installation projects, from design to completion, ensuring that projects are finished on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This position reports to the VP of Operations or another management personnel that President of the Company may designate. This position requires up to 25% travel to our offices or Jobsites. This position is based out of our Teaneck, NJ office ### ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track on going equipment and spare parts procurement needs for solar PV projects.
  • Manage day to day operation and performance of direct reports underneath.
  • Plan and build the procurement capability and capacity meeting company needs.
  • Build and manage the standard procurement process and workflow meeting company and project needs.
  • Manage pre-sales discussions with equipment vendors to ensure we have executed NDA, required support documents, and pricing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major solar equipment vendors, particular module and inverter companies.
  • As need be, secure one or more bids and provide procurement analysis.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure equipment model, price, and schedule meets project needs.
  • Negotiate equipment purchase orders and agreement, subcontract agreement, master service agreements, and other types of procurement contracts within Company Protocol.
  • Managedeliveriesandprovideupdateswhilecommunicatingwiththekeycontactattheshipping address.
  • Collect, review, and process payment of invoices.
  • Track historical data, including price, schedule, and experience.
  • As need be, secure storage facilities for short & long-term storage.
  • Maintain all documentation.
  • Promote and solicit future vendors.
  • Work closely in a close-knit team environment and with other groups, including development, portfolio operations, and legal departments, as necessary.
  • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15 years of overall procurement/project management
  • 5 years of Solar PV experience, proven reporting of financial, work, and schedule progress.
  • Organizational and process orientation skills to maintain documentation, correspondence, and related files
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Proficiency with Project planning and Management Software, PV Bid, PowerPoint, Excel and other similar software
  • Ability to review Schedules and Budgets for accuracy and completeness
  • Undergraduate Degree from a fully accredited college or university
  • Ability to work independently as required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Internal communication and a team approach are a must
  • Legally entitled to work in the US
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software Like Procore.
