**Location:** 80-100 Cologne, Germany

**Job Description:** As a Senior CCS Specialist at Climeworks, your mission is to enable Climeworks buildout roadmap by identifying and selecting winners among developing CO2 capture transport and storage hubs worldwide. You support the selection of suitable sites for current and future Climeworks Direct Air Capture Storage projects. Your responsibilities include acquiring knowledge of the CCS landscape and developments globally, understanding business cases, and contributing to the continuous development of methodology for site selection.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, earth sciences, or related discipline
• 3 years of experience in project development, management, and governance in CCS
• Existing network in the CCS and energy sector
• Professional understanding of CCS value chain and CO2 capture technologies
• Fluent in English, willing to travel up to 20%
