Blended Finance Taskforce:

SYSTEMIQ's Blended Finance Taskforce aims to overcome barriers preventing investment flow in emerging markets and developing economies. By leveraging a network of public, private, and philanthropic actors, we link national transition planning with climate finance solutions, develop blended finance mechanisms, and advocate for capital unlocking for the benefit of people and the planet.

Position Overview:

The Senior Communications Manager for SYSTEMIQ's Sustainable Finance Platform, including the Blended Finance Taskforce, will lead the planning and implementation of communications to enhance visibility and impact of key projects. Collaborating with global teams and external partners, this role requires a keen understanding of sustainability and financial sectors, strong communications skills, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee communications for the Sustainable Finance platform and the Blended Finance Taskforce
• Manage relationships with journalists and external partners
• Produce diverse communications assets including strategies, press releases, social media content, etc.
• Drive consistency in brand deployment and execute external events
• Build and manage vendor relationships for creative projects
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contribute to planning tools

Requirements:

• Proven experience in strategic communications on climate and sustainability issues
• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, accessible messaging
• Strong media relationship-building skills, especially in finance and climate sectors
• Track record of developing engaging events with global partners
• Global experience, including in emerging markets and diverse cultures
• Experience in financial sectors or development banks is a plus
