Chemonics seeks a Management and Operations Director for the USAID Integrated Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) activity. This global initiative aims to accelerate countries' Health System Strengthening efforts and achieve sustainable, equitable, and resilient health systems through locally led, evidence-driven, and context-specific approaches to HSS.

Investments in HSS support USAID's priorities of preventing child and maternal deaths, controlling the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and combating infectious diseases to strengthen global health security. A robust and accessible health system is essential for delivering high-quality health services, which in turn contribute to sustainable improvements in health, economic growth, and democratic development.

The Management and Operations Director will oversee the overall management and operations of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of management processes in general, as well as specific knowledge of USAID reporting and compliance requirements. They should demonstrate the ability to deliver quality results on time. The Director will lead a team of management specialists and work closely with the Project Director to ensure the activity achieves its goals within the set timeline while complying with reporting requirements.
