Terra.do is a global, online climate change school and community for professionals, seeking to transition 100 million people into climate work over the next 10 years.
We are looking for experts in climate/sustainable/ESG investing, climate risk management and/or corporate sustainability to create and teach a high-quality course to motivated individuals across the globe. The courses we are seeking to launch would be on the following topics:
Sustainable/ESG/Climate finance for asset/wealth managers
Climate risk management for finance professionals
Achieving net zero (Possible audience: sustainability professionals inside companies; other relevant managers)
Climate change / net zero for supply chain managers
Climate change / net zero for operations managers
We are also open to proposals for similar courses.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Min. 3-5 years of corporate and/or consulting experience relevant to the topic you wish to teach
A deep knowledge of the practical and tactical aspects of the topic you wish to teach
Significant familiarity with the specific audience (e.g. if you wish to teach a course for asset managers, you’ve worked as one yourself and/or have significant experience consulting for asset managers)
Ability to create engaging content for the intended audience
A network of skilled practitioners in your area of expertise that you can invite as potential guest speakers
At this time, we can only issue contracts drawn up in the U.S., U.K. and India—it is your responsibility to ensure you can legally undertake contractual / consulting work in these countries. Beyond this, we don’t mind where you’re based!
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Experience in corporate training, university-level teaching and/or online teaching
A Master’s or Ph.D. in corporate sustainability, sustainability management, sustainable business administration, sustainable finance, climate risk management, or a related field
Experience communicating to a global audience is highly desired—our learners come from 25+ countries
Access to relevant professional communities that would be interested in taking your course

A brief outline of a short course (3-5 hours per week for 4-6 weeks) you’d like to teach. This should include:
A course title
The intended audience (e.g. supply chain managers, asset managers, etc)
2-4 practical learning goals (these should answer the question: What will the students be able to do at the end of this course?)
Topics you would like to cover
A brief description of 1 assignment / project you would assign
Names of 2 guest speakers you would invite
