What to expect each week
A steady rhythm of live sessions, real facilitation, and supported practice.
Weekly Live Sessions
90-minute live sessions every Monday at 8:00 am PT. The program also includes two extended sessions: a 3.5-hour Climate Fresk Facilitator Training, and a 3.5-hour session where fellows facilitate Climate Fresk with a real audience.
Peer Learning Circle
Facilitated peer accountability group for mutual support, practice, and reflection between sessions.
Real Facilitation
You will actually run at least one Climate Fresk during the program, with coaching before and a full debrief after.
1:1 Mentoring
Tailored mentor sessions to support your specific context, goals, and facilitation style.
Async Practice
Guided asynchronous work and reflection between sessions, designed to fit around your schedule.
Official Certification

Adi Benea
Adi is an educator with experience in designing transformative learning experiences across Europe, Asia, and South America. As a certified Green Belt Climate Fresk Trainer, he has led sessions with international participants both online and in-person. Currently Adi facilitates climate learning through Terra.do's Learning for Action. Through his personal project indigaia.com he designs and facilitates immersive, customized learning experiences. Nikyta Palmisani
Nikyta is a Climate Change Educator, Ecopsychologist, and Certified Climate Fresk Trainer (Green Belt). She has taught global professionals in Terra.do's Learning for Action course since 2022 and is known for her dynamic facilitation style that fosters both cognitive and emotional transformation. Her experience spans UN delegations (Art Direction at COP15, Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues), research collaboration with Oxford University, and consulting with communities, corporations, and local governments. She is also a core facilitator for Leadership San Juan Islands in Washington State.
Kanan Puntambekar
Kanan leads the design and implementation of global climate fellowship programs and is experienced in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) frameworks. Prior to the impact sector, she spent 15+ years in R&D at University of Minnesota, UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, Sharp, and Apple. She is also a certified Climate Fresk facilitator.

Meet your cohort, clarify your personal "why," and identify the group you'll facilitate for during the program. Leave week one with the relational foundation and a clear sense of direction to begin the journey ahead.
2nd Gen Climate Fresk Facilitator Training
Complete your official 2nd Generation Climate Fresk Facilitator Training — leaving with both the technical grounding and the confidence to begin practicing. Fellows who have already completed a 2nd Gen Training will do this session as a refresh.
Debrief & Essential Facilitation Skills
Develop the core facilitation craft needed to hold a room — active listening, managing group dynamics, handling climate emotions, and adapting in the moment. Get clear on all logistics and platforms for running your own session.
Facilitate Climate Fresk
Fully facilitate a real Climate Fresk session, putting your training into practice — with co-facilitation and coaching support.
Facilitation Debrief & Upskilling
Integrate your first facilitation experience through structured peer feedback and reflection. Unpack what worked, what was hard, and identify concrete areas of growth to carry into future sessions.
Additional Climate Facilitation Tools

Common questions
When are the live sessions, and how long are they?
Weekly sessions are 90 minutes, held Mondays at 8:00 am PT. There's also one extended 3.5-hour session for the 2nd Generation Climate Fresk Facilitator Training.
What is required outside of the live sessions?

Do I receive a certification?
Yes. Through verified practice and assessment, you'll earn official certification as a 2nd Generation Climate Fresk Facilitator. You'll have completed the full training and run at least one official session before graduating.

Yes — we offer alumni pricing, MAPA pricing for participants from frontline communities and lower-income regions, and limited additional scholarships. Please reach out directly if cost remains a barrier.
Do I need to have completed a Terra.do program first?
No - This program is designed for anybody who is looking to become a climate facilitator. Previous participation in a Climate Fresk workshop is a prerequisite to be able to take this training. You will become a 2nd Gen Climate Fresk Facilitator by the end of it. If you are already a Climate Fresk facilitator, this training will provide you with customised facilitation skills and a wider community of practice to confidently grow your facilitation potential.
Can I fundraise or crowdsource support to cover the cost?
Yes. Many fellows offset their fee by inviting their future Climate Fresk audience (or friends, family, and colleagues) to sponsor their spot in exchange for a free Fresk session once they're certified. It's a practical funding option, and it also means you start building your first audience and practicing community-driven facilitation before the program even begins.
