Brett Webster

Brett is a Senior Associate in RMI’s Buildings practice, supporting the REALIZE and Pathways to Zero initiatives. He is currently focused on demonstrating a highly scalable model for zero-carbon retrofits to low-income multifamily buildings. Brett also works on grid-integrated buildings and communities, exploring how distributed energy resources and demand flexibility can provide grid services and support increased renewables integration.

Susan is head of portfolio at Sound Ventures, where she enables investment activity and accelerates portfolio growth. Her responsibilities at Sound include operational and relationship-based portfolio management, strategic growth advising for portfolio companies, sourcing new deals, and identifying follow-on opportunities.

Formerly a startup operator in product, growth and marketing, Susan has spent time building and leading teams at Stripe, Reforge, AppSumo and 500 Startups. She is also an angel investor and startup advisor to early stage companies focused on materials innovation, commerce infrastructure, and sustainable fintech.

Susan’s climate change journey started with personal interest driven by a love for nature and concern for our environment. She now believes climate change is the biggest opportunity area of our time, and is devoted to surfacing and enabling world-changing climate innovation.

Mikki is a PhD candidate researching climate change and migration. She holds an MSc. in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.

Mikki is a firm believer in the importance of making climate change education accessible, understandable and inspiring for people of all ages, backgrounds and interests.

Her experiences range from working as a teacher in the United World College movement, developing curriculum for courses on nature-human connections and public climate change speaking. She also instructs on the Terra.do Climate Change Learning for Action Course.Mikki is Greek-English, she is a lover of backcountry skiing, being outside and the stillness of large pines. She feels most at home in the mountains
