Program details and breakdown

100% Online, Cohort-based
6 Weeks (Intensive) + 1 Year Community Access
Commitment: 6–10 hours/week
Weekly expert lectures & office hours
Certificate upon completion

Six Weeks. High Velocity

The core Intensive is a six-week sprint. You join a small squad and ship a tangible artifact every week culminating in a final demo day. This is followed by an annual membership to our community of practice.

6–10 Hours. Async-First

Designed for shipping while working. The schedule blends a 90-minute live sync with asynchronous deep dives and an assignment unlock, totalling just 6–10 hours per week.

Production-Grade Projects

You will ship datasets, dashboards, workflows, or chatbots. Bring your own context or tackle a real-world brief to solve an actual climate bottleneck.

Code / No-code / Low-Code

You bring the domain expertise; we provide the stack know-how. We teach you to use AI for data gathering and storytelling, always prioritizing human-in-the-loop ethics over blind automation.

Contribute to real-world projects

Studio graduates get year-long access to on-the-ground high-impact projects. We source live project briefs from leading organizations across climate, policy, and venture ecosystems.

Learn from practitioners shipping change-making products

Our curriculum is designed and led by practitioners who are building at the edge of climate and tech.

Quick Answers

What kind of time commitment should I expect?

The Studio is designed to be flexible, requiring as little as six hours per week to gain comfort with different AI aspects, though you may choose to invest significantly more time—such as 12 hours—on specific topics like storytelling or agentic workflows that resonate with your personal goals.

Do I need coding experience?

No technical skills required. We teach you everything from scratch with hands-on projects. The focus is on practical application - learning to use AI tools effectively for climate work. If you can navigate a spreadsheet or write an email, you have the skills to start.

What will I build?

You'll create real AI-powered projects like datasets, dashboards, and chatbots for climate action. These are tools you can actually use in your work, whether that's analyzing climate data, automating research tasks, or building resources for your organization or community.

Who are the instructors?

The Studio is co-created by Terra's leadership team and taught by climate tech leaders and AI experts with real-world experience building solutions at Terra.do and partner organizations. Our instructors are actively using these tools to solve climate problems and will share what's actually working in practice.

What happens after the 6 weeks?

You get a full year of community access with ongoing masterclasses, networking opportunities, and most importantly - real project work with leading climate organizations like Goonj and Audubon Society. The learning continues at graduation as you apply these skills to actual climate challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

No! The Intensive is designed for non-technical and semi-technical professionals. We focus on no-code tools and AI capabilities that anyone can learn.

This course is for people who want to make a meaningful impact on climate today, not someday. It’s designed for professionals, career switchers, founders, and practitioners who care deeply about climate outcomes and want practical tools, structure, and support to move from intention to action—whether or not they have prior experience with AI or technology.

This program is built around real climate problems and real-world application. You work on live briefs, learn responsible and practical uses of AI, and ship tangible projects alongside practitioners who are actively building in climate.

Expect to commit 6-10 hours per week during the 6-week Intensive. This includes live sessions, team collaboration, and building your weekly project.

While we cover GenAI, we also explore data analysis, visualization, and automation. The goal is to solve problems, not just use the latest hype.

Terra.do is committed to accessibility. We offer financial aid and purchasing power parity (PPP) pricing. Please apply and let us know your situation.
