About the event
Curious about carbon accounting but unsure where to start or what questions to even ask?
Join us for an interactive AMA session with David Jaber, climate strategy advisor and author of Climate Positive Business. With over two decades of experience helping 200+ companies reduce emissions and improve decision-making, David will guide participants through the fundamentals of carbon accounting and field your toughest questions.
We’ll kick off with a breakout to explore what you already know (or don’t!), then come back together to unpack key concepts like carbon footprints, GHG inventories, and climate goal-setting.
Whether you’re just beginning or refining your approach, this session is your chance to gain clarity and confidence in carbon accounting.

From Global Health to Global Emissions: Maria Bianculli on Building a Career in Climate Strategy
What does it look like to pivot into climate work and end up shaping the sustainability strategies of the world’s largest companies?
Join us for a conversation with Maria Bianculli, now a Manager at Agendi, a climate and sustainability consulting firm with a global footprint.
Maria’s path into climate began in the world of global development, where she supported USAID programs across health and private sector engagement. Today, she works with multinational corporations to measure emissions, set science-based targets, and align with evolving climate disclosure frameworks.
In this session, Maria will share her own journey ....what led her to climate work, how she built her skill set, and what it’s like supporting companies through the complex transition to net zero. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at what consultants do in this space, and how meaningful impact can happen from both inside and outside the system.
👥 This session is for you if you’re:
- Curious about building a nonlinear career in climate
- Exploring roles in climate consulting, corporate sustainability, or net zero strategy
- Wondering how to apply skills from global health, international development, or policy into the climate space
- Looking for honest insights on working with large multinationals and navigating frameworks like SBTi, GHG Protocol, and CSRD
