Learning Outside the Classroom: Education as a Climate Solution - Workshop + case-study showcase
This session positions education, not technology alone, as one of the most powerful climate solutions. Sai presents hands-on, nature-based learning models that reconnect learners to ecosystems, while Kriti frames how climate education can shift mindsets, behaviors, and decision-making at scale. Participants engage in co-design exercises to imagine programs that are inclusive, actionable, and locally relevant.
Our speakers:
Kriti Murthy is a climate literacy champion and builder of bold programs that empower people to understand and act on the climate crisis. After a decade leading change in complex environments at global financial institutions, she now focuses fully on climate impact - educating, connecting, and activating individuals, teams, and communities.
Saidevi Sanjeeviraja is the Founder and CEO of Thicket Tales, a nature-based education initiative that reconnects children, families and adults with the natural world through experiential, place-based intiatives.
