About the event
With climate disclosure laws now in force across California, the EU, and beyond, companies face a new level of accountability. This event demystifies the complex world of mandatory climate reporting.
Helmed by the course creator of the Mastering Corporate Climate Reporting, Katherine Markova, the goal is to help sustainability and finance professionals align around IFRS, CSRD, SB 253/SB 261, and more.
Learn how to determine what’s material, build integrated reports, and prepare your organization for the regulatory expectations of today and the climate risks of tomorrow.
This is more than compliance, it is in fact strategic resilience...
Meet the Speaker:
Katherine heads up Partnerships at Climate Interactive, a climate modeling and education nonprofit. She pivoted into climate work following a 20-year career in accounting and reporting with KPMG, during which she advised many of the world’s largest companies. Katherine’s main areas of expertise are corporate sustainability and transparency. In her most recent role with 3Degrees Group Inc., Katherine supported corporate clients with greenhouse gas emissions measurement, climate target setting, climate risk assessment and sustainability reporting.

EU Regulatory Landscape 2026 Update
The EU sustainability regulatory landscape has entered a new phase. With the Omnibus provisional agreement in place, companies now have more clarity on scope, sequencing, and expectations. At the same time, responsibility and enforcement remain firmly on the agenda.
In this webinar, we cut through the noise to explain what the Omnibus really changes, what is now settled, and where companies still need to prepare for further evolution.
You will gain a clear overview of how CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, CBAM, and EUDR fit together post Omnibus. We will focus on what this means in practice for organizations preparing sustainability reporting and disclosures in 2026.
What you will learn:
- What is now settled under the Omnibus. And what is still evolving
- How CSRD scope, ESRS requirements, and timelines look going into 2026
- Practical implications for data, governance, and internal ownership
- How to avoid over compliance, under compliance, and last minute rework
- What systems and processes companies should prioritize now to stay audit ready and adaptable
This session is designed for sustainability, finance, risk, compliance, and ESG leaders who want to move from interpretation to execution with confidence.
Join us for a practical and structured discussion, plus live Q&A.
