About the event

In-Climate Operations

Climate solutions don't succeed in strategy decks, they succeed in the systems that carry them into the real world.

This session brings together climate operations practitioners to talk about what the work really looks like - what transfers from other industries, what doesn't, and what it takes to move from intention to execution.

We'll dig into:

  • Building Operations That Scale - How to design systems and processes that can grow without losing the flexibility early-stage work demands
  • Data That Does Something - How to cut through the noise and find the metrics that actually drive decisions, tell a story, and move people
  • From Strategy to Execution - What it takes to sustain momentum toward climate goals in an ever-changing landscape

Featuring insights from Terra.do alumni:

- Ahmad Erfan, Co-Founder and COO, Viridis Research Inc

- Enid Maran, Head of Customer Success, Occuspace

- Erica Neiges, Founder, Thru-Line

This conversation matters because climate progress is no longer limited by ideas, it’s limited by execution. The ability to operationalize climate solutions at scale is what will determine whether targets stay aspirational or become measurable global outcomes.

Join us as we unpack how climate operations are being built for the scale, rigor, and urgency this moment demands.

Open House: Software for Climate

Interested in applying your software skills to climate?

Join us for a live open house with the Software for Climate team and alumni. Learn how software engineers, product managers, data professionals, and technical builders are contributing to climate solutions across energy, carbon markets, transportation, adaptation, and more.

You’ll get an overview of the program, hear directly from alumni about their experiences, and have the opportunity to ask questions about curriculum, workload, outcomes, and climate career pathways.

Jaime Curtis and Jason Curtis, Co-Founders, Option Zero

Jason and Jaime Curtis are a husband and wife team. They have been software engineers and technical leads at big tech companies (Microsoft, Meta), late-stage unicorns (Convoy), and small climate tech startups (EnergySavvy, Osmo Systems). They built on their combined 20+ years of experience in software and climate solutions to launch Option Zero, the software consultancy for climate companies and initiatives.

Whether you’re actively exploring a transition into climate or simply curious about the field, this session is designed to help you understand where your skills can have the greatest impact.
