About inoqo

Company stage: Seed

In a world of over-, mis- or blurred information, inoqo provides retailers, brands, and their consumers with scientific data on the environmental, social, and biodiversity impacts of grocery products. Founded in 2020, inoqo is a Retail Solution which enables grocery retailers, Food and Beverage (F&B) brands and suppliers to calculate the socio-environmental impact of their products and ingredients, subsequently helping them optimize their assortment. We also assist with communicating the results of the assessment to the customer through product labels that convey the products’ environmental impact through an easy-to-understand grading system. By offering more sustainable products, retailers and brands can help their customers transition towards a healthier and more sustainable diet. No matter if you are a retailer anticipating upcoming regulatory changes and mandatory sustainability labelling, or a consumer interested in protecting the wildlife in your region or avoiding allergens in your diet, inoqo can provide you with the product transparency you need. By using a set of trusted scientific databases and leveraging cutting-edge technology, inoqo can track all the ingredients found in every F&B product, providing in-depth analysis on a product’s composition, CO2 footprint, effect on biodiversity and society, as well as, presence of specific allergens. Based on a user profile, the solution will actively recommend alternative products that are more in line with the user’s values and priorities.
