About the position

Otak is currently seeking a Stormwater Group Leader/Senior Engineer to join our Water and Natural Resources (WNR) team. This position is ideal for a highly effective manager and collaborator with an entrepreneurial mindset who is excited to contribute to building a practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support WNR projects across Colorado, Washington, and Oregon, working with a variety of clients including the Mile High Flood District and various municipalities such as Boulder, Greeley, and Fort Collins. The role involves managing projects that include basin planning, urban stormwater retrofit, stormwater treatment and management, and green infrastructure. As a Stormwater Group Leader, you will actively participate in our business unit leadership team, sharing responsibility for leading our Water and Natural Resources Business Unit in Colorado. Your responsibilities will include facilitating business development, training, project delivery processes, and addressing operational needs with a strong focus on stormwater management. This position may be based out of our Louisville or Denver, CO office, providing flexibility in your work environment. In this role, you will be expected to leverage your expertise in stormwater management to lead projects that protect people, property, and the environment. You will work closely with a team of passionate and creative professionals dedicated to delivering impactful solutions in the communities we serve. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and ensuring that we meet the needs of our clients effectively.

Responsibilities
