King & Wood Mallesons is seeking a Solicitor for their Real Estate team in Perth, Australia. The role involves providing high-quality legal advice on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements. About the role
Our Perth Real Estate team are currently recruiting a Solicitor to join our team working closely with Carl Black.
The team advises on complex transactions across the real estate, new energy, agriculture, liquor and hospitality industries. The key responsibility for Solicitors within the team is to provide high quality, commercial and practical advice to ensure excellence in service delivery to our clients. We advise clients on a number of legal issues including:
• Development of major real estate assets, including infrastructure assets
• Acquisitions and disposals of real property, including major commercial, industrial, hospitality and retail assets
• Investment in real estate assets and developments
• Complex lease agreements
You will have
• excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
• strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability
• enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities
• first rate experience of drafting documents (including agreements, contracts, deeds, land registry documents etc).
You will have experience in real estate, including involvement in large scale real estate projects. You will have an ability to apply core property and commercial law principles to a wide variety of investment and development scenarios.
As a lawyer within the team you will be expected to maintain your networks to enhance development of the practice and be actively involved in industry related issues. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the practice so that commercially sensible and innovative solutions are provided to our clients.
