Synergy Power is seeking an experienced Solar Energy Consultant in Kansas City, MO, to guide homeowners through the solar sales process using pre-set appointments. Job description
We are seeking an Experienced Solar Sales Consultant in the Kansas City area. In this role, you will be plugged in to our system of pre-set/qualified/confirmed/dispatched appointments with homeowners and guide them through the sales process. You will leverage your expertise in solar sales and energy solutions to help clients make informed decisions that benefit both their homes and the environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, proven experience in solar, and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.

Responsibilities
• Present custom solar systems to pre-set appointments with company provided, highly qualified homeowners
• Utilize software tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in solar technology
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process
• Collaborate/Communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless installation and service delivery for clients.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in Solar Sales, preferably in-home.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales successfully.
• Familiarity with software tools used in our industry, including CRM & solar design software (Solo, Aurora, SolarEdge) etc.
• Reliable Transportation & Internet connection (laptop, tablet, smartphone)
• Willing to run appointments Mon-Sat from 9am-7pm
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Detail oriented, punctual, dedicated, and driven
• A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to helping yourself and the company grow
