Synergy Power is seeking a Solar Energy Consultant to manage their own territory in the Atlanta Metro area. Candidates should have 1-2 years of solar sales experience and be proficient in CRM and solar design software. Responsibilities include lead generation, conducting energy consultations, and closing deals. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential for high earnings, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Consultant in the Atlanta Metro area with a proven track record in the solar energy industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in either appointment setting or closing solar deals—and preferably both. This individual should be confident in using solar design platforms, CRM systems, and lead management tools, with measurable success in generating and converting leads & a proven history of successful installs.

Responsibilities
• Generate qualified leads through door-to-door outreach, digital platforms, referrals, and networking channels.
• Conduct detailed energy consultations with homeowners and businesses to understand needs, analyze bills, and present tailored solar solutions.
• Use industry software (e.g., Aurora Solar, SolarEdge, Enerflo, etc.) to design and propose systems effectively.
• Manage and update prospect information through CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
• Present quotes, handle objections, and close deals within company margin goals.
• Coordinate with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Track and report performance metrics, including appointment-to-close ratios and total installed kilowatts.
• Continuously educate clients on solar benefits, financing options, and available incentives or tax credits
Experience
• Minimum 1–2 years of direct experience in solar sales or consulting.
• Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or lease programs.
• Team leadership or mentoring background in solar sales.
• Proven record of solar installs and successful closings.
• Strong understanding of grid-tied and battery-backed systems.
• Experience using solar design and proposal software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to self-generate leads and work independently.
• Comfortable working both in the field and remotely.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
