Job Description

Maryland Environmental Service is hiring a Shift Engineer (First Grade State of MD Stationary Engineer) for their facility in Somerset County, MD. The role involves operating and maintaining the steam plant during a rotating 12-hour shift. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, three years of experience, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a salary range of $70,718.27 - $97,237.61 and various benefits.

Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Shift Engineer (First Grade State of MD Stationary Engineer) located at our facility in Somerset County, MD. This position is a plant operator who will be in charge of the steam plant and provide maintenance as needed during their shift.

Estimated Pay Range:

$70,718.27 - $97,237.61

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus three years of operating experience in steam plant operations.

Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points, and a First Grade State of Maryland Stationary Engineer’s License.

Shift Engineers will be on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
