Job Description
Our client is a globally recognised long-only asset manager who is looking to appoint a Senior Investment Analyst to join a Global Sustainable Equities strategy. You will contribute to the of high-conviction investment ideas across global equity markets, with a particular emphasis on sustainability themes and energy transition sectors.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research on global companies, generating investment recommendations aligned with the fund’s sustainable investment framework
Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses and ESG assessments
Identify and evaluate opportunities within energy transition sectors (e.g. renewables, electrification, clean mobility, resource efficiency)
Monitor existing portfolio holdings and provide ongoing research updates
Attend and lead company management meetings, industry events and expert calls
Collaborate with the broader investment team to generate new sustainable investment ideas and thematic insights
Support client engagement activities, including presentations and marketing materials for institutional investors
Requirements
5-10 years’ experience in equity research, ideally within buy-side or sell-side environments
Demonstrated expertise in energy transition sectors
Passion for sustainable investing
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with the ability to articulate investment theses clearly
Solid understanding of ESG factors and their impact on long-term value creation
CFA qualification
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both internal stakeholders and external clients
