Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated and reliable MRF Line Sorters to join our team! This role involves sorting recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt and ensuring proper placement into designated bins or bunkers. The ideal candidate should be able to work at a steady pace in an outdoor environment and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely sort and remove recyclable materials from the conveyor belt, including paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, metal, aluminum, tin cans, and hard plastics.
• Identify and remove non-recyclable materials, placing them in designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area using appropriate cleaning tools.
• Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning of plant equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide assistance when needed.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any operational issues to Line Leads or Supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Preferred: 1 year of experience in a similar role (but not required).
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Capable of repetitive motion and physical labor.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with exposure to weather conditions, dust, odors, and noise.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
